Foldables
BMXrs
and 10 Speeds

A few, like us, working out the base miles, continuing to pull back on the bow with the calendar cleared and no target to hit.

Most, with that goofyEinsteingrin, falling back in love with the wind on their face under their own power. 

My favorites are the kids fulla spunk... the young kids who just realized this sport might just be better than love itself... boys and girls with...

... helmets high, high, high on their foreheads,
runnin' shoes on platform pedals,
grabbing the bars like the bike just might get away...

... I love your energy

My daughter will be joining your throngs. 

She's gonna do a triathlon, not an actual organized triathlon.  Surf for an hour, ride 16 miles, run 3.  Her own numbers.  Her own race.

Where'd you get that idea?

I heard about this girl who trained for a half-marathon and on the date of the cancelled event she just went out and did it.  So, I'm going do my own triathlon.

Here's my chance to get her off to a good start, because she oughta know.  Give her all the pointers a loving DieselDad can give.  Starting with getting her bike dusted off and teaching her the basics...

Which begs the question... 

Should I just head on down and race the Sagebrush Safari on my own?

Maybe a few of us can drive down separate, do a time trial start.  Set a few course PRs, maybe even get a big cup... could be the start of something new.
