THE SIMPLEST DIET EVER
THERE ARE A MILLION DIETS OUT THERE. I've tried a lot, made up a lot, and found them all to be unsustainable or unhealthy for me or plain ridiculous...
... until I settled on the See Food diet.
It's very easy to follow.
Easier to explain.
Hard to do.
It works.
Easy, hard, works.
The only question at this point is...
... Do you want the results?
When I explain it to people, they frown. Like it's some unrealisatic ask I've laid out...
... It's not.
At least it's no more unrealistic than asking your body to perform at it's best with improper fuel.
So, here it is...
... if you can see the ingredients of what you're eating, eat it.
Take that dinner plate above, other than the bread - which I set aside - I could identify everything on the plate. Therefore, I ate it.
Fruits, eat 'em.
Veggies, eat 'em.
Meats of all kinds, eat 'em.
Do you see what I mean?
Or course, this eliminates all packaged foods, all baked goods, all traditional desserts.
It's hard at first. It took me a long time to get on the rhythym of it all...
... and then the suprising happened.
My cravings went away.
Poof.
Well, they didn't go away because now I crave whole foods...
... whose ingredients I can see.
You know what else went away?...
... a lot of blubber.
Easily.
Over time.
A word about cheat days.
They are popular, and I believe they are stupid. All they do is restart the cravings.
Do I cheat?
No, sometimes I'll say Ice cream sounds good today.. But, Instead of pounding a pint I have a few bites. It just doesn't taste as good as it once did.
In it's place, I currently crave greek yogurt with frozen fruit mixed in.
Don't stress about it.
It's a lifestyle change, and once you start seeing your food through this athlete's filter...
... you'll notice you have a lot of places where you can improve.
