TAKING TIME

TAKING TIME

SOMETIMES THE BEST WAY TO TAKE TIME ON YOUR COMPETITORS is to take time for yourself.  Not on the bike.  Off.  Not active recovery...

... a different kind of activity.

One of my favorites, is to put my bike in the stand.

And just look at it...

... with no schedule, no hurry.

Shine this.
Tighten that.
Check pressures.
Check for unusual wear.
Clean and lube the chain.
Look for ways to perfect the ride.

Here's another.

Return from a solid ride and do nothing.
Relax.
Eat.

Read a book,
and fall asleep.

It's okay to rest...

... sometimes knowing you are fresh as a new kit is all ya need.

I love the UFO lube for my chain, and clean it with WEND.

Of course, nothing will make your legs feel magical like PR Lotion.
