THERE'S NOTHING BETTER THAN A COLD, dark morning.   And there's plenty of that on the way.  We had our first one this week.  In the 30's, and humid.  Bone chilling.  Just knowing most cats are tucked in and cozy...

... brings me joy.

Yeah, I know I'm sick.

But, dayem if it ain't glorious on those mornings.  My breath, hot and steamy.  The streets empty...

... the suns splintering rays fracturing across the retreating dark.

I live for that shift!

Most rollover.
Most put on the winter coat.
Then spend all spring taking it off.
vs. rolling out.

Isn't it awesome, getting a big head start on the rest of cats?
