... those choices will hypnotize you.

Which is not a bad thing or a good thing.

It's just a thing.

Choose wisely.

Just one of the many nuggets I found in this very strange book, Outwitting The Devil.

The environment we live in is determined by the choices we make. That's kinda obvious. But, the idea that our environment hypnotizes us and keeps us hostage is powerful, even scary.

Yet, it's true.

For example, years ago we set up our Tuesday Morning World Championships. For decades I've been hauling my butt outta bed at o'dark thirty to meet the fellas.

It was hard at first.

But, a habit was formed. Friendships were made. Events were planned.

Here we are, a million years later, in better shape than 99% of our contemporaries.

Happy.

Healthy.

Having fun.

A trifecta of goodness, because we chose to be part of the environment of bike racers...

... and most of us don't even "race"!

We're just race ready.
