DECEMBER HEROES

AS THE GROUP SPED BY ME THIS MORNING, I thought to myself now would be a good time to bring up a topic relevant to those living in the sunbelt.  Could be germane to the rest of ya's, too...

... I give you the December hero.

This is not the local Toys for Tots champion.  No, far from that.  This is the cat who wins all the climbs and sprints in December...

... and can you blame them?

Yes.

Kinda.

Most of the time said cat has spent the spring, the summer, and the fall getting smacked around and dropped by those who hibernate in winter...

... and it feels dern fine to win a few.

But, why do some hibernate in winter?

To let the body heal and recover,
then build base...

... and then smack everybody around the rest of the year.

In other words...

... December Hero winds up Summer Zero.

I say this with only love in my heart...
