CONNECTING THE PEEPS
ON THE WAY TO TMWC, JAKE ASKED ME HOW I MET HIS NEW BOSS GREG. We were college buddies and we met as Brickers, a club on campus. One year I was elected the Social VP. Part of this entailed planning epic parties with a sister club... and the best part of that was deciding which girls lined up with which boys for the party.
I guess I'm still planning epic parties, and lining people up.
HUNKR, epic... and getting epic-er.
My buddy Andy is getting new trailers for his trucking business made at Baghouse which is a sponsor of HUNKR and owned by my friend Chad.
TMWC has been called the best morning ride in OC.
Jake would have got his new job anyway, but it is a curious thing how we connect with people if we'll just open our mouths.
Does it make a difference if people are referred or have a common, friendly connection?
Would the rides/races be any fun if we weren't all there?
What's in a reputation?
