... KOMs aren't kool.

And trust me on this, I'm the first to admit I was once a KOM hunter.  And the second to admit my helmet straineth mightily when I get one...

... and I still get 'em.

Real ones, with hundreds of attempts.  Nearly always on the DH section of something fast, flowy and fun...

... that's my jam.

But this KOM jam is evil. 

Capital E evil.  

It deceiveth.

It lieth.

It pointeth in the wrong direction.

The point of our fitness isn't to kick the krap out of the other kids...

... our first focus should always be about discovery.

What can I do to improve?

How fast can I go?

Me.

Not thee.

Once I unlock the secrets of my fitness, I help others up...

... and that's a metric we can never measure...

... that gives real pleasure.
