    WHY DO BODY WEIGHT EXERCISES

    WHY DO BODY WEIGHT EXERCISES

THERE ARE A LOT OF WAYS to get stronger on the bike. Whether we want to climb better, fly on the flats or lay down obscene sprints...

    ... we need more power.

    How do we get it?

    Akshully go to a gym,
    lift heavy at home,
    body weight.

    They all work.

Lately, I've been in love with the body weight stuff.

Not just the pullup an pushup stuff...

... but, high rep leg work.

    Till.
    It.
    Burns.

Yeah, it produces the same I can barely walk feeling...

    ... after rattling 'em off.

And, I'm rightly winded to prove it.

The reason I'm really digging these is...

    • plain ol' grinding up a long climb
    • pushing hard the final minute to the top
    • poking my nose in the wind for way longer than normal

... the fatigue resistance it seems to be building.

    I feel the fatigue building,
and I seem to be able to deal with it better than high weight, low rep.

    It feels so good,
    I love it.
