WHAT'S NEXT ON YOUR CALENDAR?

I GET ASKED THIS A LOT. As if I'm not thoroughly exhausted and satisfied for this summer's accomplishments. First at Firecracker 50, second at Nationals, PR at Leadville... ... you'd think that was enough. It is, kind of. Along with a few races I sponsor, I've got one more adventure planned. A ride. Not a race. But, it's far. Really far. So outrageous, only a few are willing to attempt it with me. The first time we tried it this year a heat wave rolled through and we had to quite with 30 miles to go. I call it the Surf N Summit. Ride from San Clemente to Big Bear. About 130 or so miles and 10-15k of vert. I've wanted to do it for years, and we're going to make it even crazier. Ride up Thursday Nov 3, recover at a bitchin' house with a masseuse, good food, and an easy spin around the lake on Friday Nov 4, ride back to San Clement on Saturday Nov 5.
