UNBELIEVABLE
EVER NOTICE HOW IF WE DO EVERYTHING RIGHT, we can have an excellent adventure and come out better than before? Yet, if we try and explain how it works to the friends and family...
... they be like No way!
Way.
But, here's the dill.
Most Sundays, I get up
- with very tender quads
- a little crickety in the bones
- and can't make it without a serious siesta
... versus how I felt today, after yesterday's epicality.
Why is that?
Welp, doing the adventure right means...
- staying on top of the energy consumption
- not going anywhere near the red zone
- not cramping
... feeling exhausted but not obliterated.
Where as a typical Saturday means...
- staying on top of energy consumption
- going deep into red many times
- possibly cramping
... feeling exhausted, obliterated and destroyed.
Reality is, that adventure is a huge Zone2 sesh and,
we'll probably be flying next weekend.
So, when we asked how our seemingly impossible adventure went,
we say...
... it was incredible, can't wait to do it again.
They say...
... unbelievable.
