TRACKING AND THE 40% RULE
WE'VE ALL HEARD it's important to track the data because what gets measured gets mastered. In fact, I'll a step further...
... what gets measured gets mastered.
We're into that.
Amiright?
With that in mind, I thought I'd be really diligent today on the tracking.
The on the protein intake is a gram for every pound, 165 grams.

I got somewhat close, 144 grams.
Maybe a few more in the other things I ate today: nuts, dumplings, etc.
The point is, now I'm more aware I need to up my game there.
I also took the time to chicken scratch the pullups and pushups.

The goal was 30 pullups and 150 pushups, which I slight exceeded because a rep of 1 seemed week.
The thing about this one is while I started somewhat strong for me, my ability to keep up the reps waned and...
... I had to apply the 40% rule.
I learned this from the great David Goggins who said...
... we can always do 40% of our last effort.
Whether or not that's true science or bro calling us out, it works.
Which thinking also came into play with the evening sprints and torque training.
The point of all this is being strong is something I want to master as I age.
