TO FACE THE HORRIC FACT...
I FOUND AN AMAZING DOCUMENT THIS MORNING. The rare, pure autobiographical journey of how Van Der Poel broke 2 World Records and earned 2 Olympic Gold Medals...
... not Mathieu, Nils.
His approach seems novel, logical, doable...
... healthy.
This statement drew me in to this champion's fantastic campaign:
I believe that it was the value I created outside of the sport,
and not the success within it,
that made it worthwhile to live in this manner;
to face the horrific fact that only one of us will win the competition and all the others will lose;
that injury or sickness can sabotage four years of work.
It was not my success that justified my sacrifices,
it was my friends,
and I owed it to them to try to live up to my full potential.
Is it relevant to bike racing? Hellyeah, he's just smashed the Olympic speed skating world.
From his 5 days on, 2 days off method to his thoughts on race specific training, stretching, weights, food, rest, sleep, heart rate, power meters, travel.
It's very applicable to what we are up to over here...
... and so much more, read it for yourself.

The hood Nils wears in his skin suit reminded me of the hood on our changing poncho...
We have a bunch of new designs, this like this Ride Fast or Die design.
And yes, we can make them in your team colors.
