THE WONDERS OF A PAIN CAVE
EVERY NOW AND AGAIN I'm legit jealous of my snowed in comrades. I reminisce back to the earliest of times when I lived in cold country, trainer set up by the TV...
... roommates occasionally mocking me.
There's just something about being inside,
spinning the legs,
spinning the stories,
spinning the reasons,
and knowing one day Spring will arrive and these beautiful, sinewy muscles shall unleash the glorious power that was fashioned over the winter.
Those are the wondrous results of a physical pain cave, which translate to the ability to endure suffering and inflict anguish on others.
Repeatedly.
We can all train and race year round now,
the only question...
... is are you ready for the pain cave?

Maybe you'll be ready for the very first Surf N Summit.
Riding from the sand, across gravel, through a concrete jungle, with some single track thrown in, to the slopes of our local ski resort.
120ish miles, 15,000'ish vert.
And, some of us might even ride back the next day.
Are you in?
