THE ROUTINE.

THE ROUTINE.

EVERY GREAT ATHLETE HAS A ROUTINE.  Some mundane, some strange, some outlandish.  They stick to it...

... because it works.

It doesn't matter if it make sense.
Is rooted in science.
Reasonable.

That's the hardest part of remote work, and doublydifficult if you're on the move.

Here's how I'm doing it.

As with any successful routine, it's all about the start.  I stick to my regular schedule. For me, that's up reading and writing at 6.  Working at 8.  Riding in the afternoon.

If I can do that, I'm 90% there.

The other 10%, I have to be flexible.  Dinner at a friend's at an odd hour, monsoon rains every afternoon, camping with no interwebs.  Just roll with it...

... I've found many improvements that way.

Brian texted me during the ride to ask if the mini-RaceDay Bag™ would work with this dropper.

Apparently, that's an issue.

Not with this bag.

It sucks right up underneath your saddle.
