AT ABOUT 7AM THIS MORNING MY ENTIRE BODY WAS SHAKING. Failure was near. Time... the more I looked at the stopwatch feature on my phone the slower time went.
It was just 2 minutes in the plank position,
It seemed like an hour.
At about 5pm this afternoon we rolled out for MTB WDNSDY. It was 80+ degrees, we were moving slow, gaining over 1700'.
It was 6 miles straight up for an hour,
It seemed like 2 minutes.
----> Side note: I definitely should have gone to Santiago Oaks today to pre-ride Saturday's race course. There's a pretty tricky down hill that I haven't ridden since last year. Oh well, now I have a relatively good excuse.
