TAPERING SUCKS

IT'S RACE DAY TOMORROW, and this week has been soooooo boring. Too many don'ts, from riding too hard to eating too much to sleeping too little...

... the lethargy is real.

Why?

So we feel fresh and spicy on race day.

Will I?

Mmmmmmmabye.

While tapering we always watch the fitness score, per the training apps, drop.

Hence, the call to put in some hard miles.

But, with additional hard workouts comes fatigue.

Got it?

Tapering = Fitness down, Form up.

Frankly, I haven't see for my Form in positive territory form months.

So, while the overall Fitness is nowhere near what I'd hoped...

... the Form is in a good place.

Gonna be fun to see how it checks out.
