STRONG ENOUGH TO BE MY SPOKE?
IT AIN'T LIKE I'M SOME KINDA BEAST, so why ya gotta let me down this mornin'? Like a dutiful servant I bowed before my steed. Grabbed and twisted that spoke outta the way. Opened up the quick adjust on the brakes and backed the cable as far as she'd go.
Then I limped home.
Coulda begged Surfergirl to bail me out, but wanted to see how durable this wheel is.
Ran into David and made him turn around a keep me company for a coupla miles.
Limped up the hill.
Shop says I threw the chain into the spokes once upon a time... yep, I do recall that.
Lesson learned... if that chain goes into the spokes, that bikes into the shop.
Thanks to Robert at RockNRoad LN.
Gosh I broke my spoke today.
The tears of rage I cannot lie
I'd be the last to help you understand
I'd be the last to help you understand
Are you strong enough to be my spoke
Nothing's true, and nothing's right
Don't let me be alone tomorrow
'Cause you can't change the way I ride
Don't let me be alone tomorrow
'Cause you can't change the way I ride
Are you strong enough to be my spoke
Lie to me, I promise I'll believe...
