SHIFTING UP UP OR COPING DOWN?
GET CLOSE ENOUGH THE 'A' RACE and sooner or later we've got to make a choice. Whether we've publicly declared our intentions or not doesn't matter as much...
... as what we tell ourselves.
And, others.
Before ...
- on the start line
- after the finish line
- and all points in between
... and after.
I was thinking about this because...
- things are not going perfect for my prep
- life is extra superduper busy
- the race course changes
... and it would be easy to start lining up the excuses.
Cope.
Maybe cancel going altogether.
This pretty much happens to all racers.
But not us.
We stay focused on what we committed to...
... we shift up.
