NEVER, EVER DO THIS WITH YOUR COMPETITION
OCCASIONALLY AN ACTUAL COMPETITOR SHOWS UP ON A GROUP RIDE. I'm not talking about somebody that is going to push me, I'm taking about that rare time...
... someone I might actually be battling with in an A race is present.
Generally speaking, most of us have our club or team or posse or crew we train with. With these cats we are giving it our all. Together we go to a big race and we're either working together...
... or taking on all comers.
A year or so back, this cat used to show up from time to time on our group ride. We'd be slogging it out, hurting each other as much as possible...
... but, I neverever showed all my cards.
There is no advantage to proving how strong you on a training ride.
If a direct competitor is there...
... always hold something back.
Always.
And, if you are visiting one of your competitor's rides to scope their fitness they might do the same to you.
Why do you think the pros feign nursing knees, stomach bug, etc leading up to the Tour de France...
... then show up and slay the competition?
They aren't ill.
They are prepping, building their engines in private.
That's pro.
Be pro.

You know what else is pro?
Having a super slim wallet to carry the essentials when riding or out on the town.
We make these out of MTB innertubes.
The part I love is that it's so grippy inside my jersey, it's never going to fall out.
It's all I use...
... keeps me from carrying around a brick on nonsense in my pocket.
Plus, it's proof I'm committed to fitness...
... people dig that.
No promo code on this one... it's a mere $24, and ships for free.
And yes, we can put your team logo on there.
