MEDIOCRITY
WE HAVE STANDARDS for ourselves. But, it's kinda weird because the standards in one area are insanely high and in another...
... embarrassing low.
How can that be?
Haven't we had this beat into us by every wannabe infoolencer and gooroo...
... How you do one thing is how you do everything.
Really?
Personally, I could care less...
- winning a ping pong game at the office
- stunning the crowds with a suit n tie
- arriving on time to the barbeque
... about a lotta stuff.
But, take us to the start line...
- starting months/years out
- tapping into the hidden meaning in the kit design
- it's not about winning as much as knowing there was absolutely nothing left to give
... and a whole other cat shows up.
And, I'm not even sure that's mediocrity...
... vs doing the minimum amount necessary to achieve a desired outcome.
There are time when the minimum necessary,
is the maximum possible.
It's our decision.
