JACK OF ALL TRAILS, MASTER OF NONE

JACK OF ALL TRAILS, MASTER OF NONE

WHAT HAPPENED TONIGHT WAS EYEOPENING.  I had scouted out a course that took just over 19 minutes on my gravel bike.  It's mostly fast, lumpy single track...

... easy to ride on a gravel bike.

I had no idea how much faster it would be on my mountain bike.

Nearly 3 minutes.

That's 15% faster.

Look, I absolutely L-O-V-E to ride my gravel bike for the many options it provides.  But, when it comes to haulingass...

... nothing beats a specialty bike.

MTB on trails.  Roadbike on pavement.  Gravel bike on smooth dirt.

As far as race prep goes, the closer our A race gets the more we need to spend time on the bike we'll be racing.  Bonus points if we can set up a similar course.  Triple Bonus points if we can pre-ride the racecourse, a lot.

Here's a specialty product you may not not about, yet.

The thing I like about this chamois cream is it doesn't break down over time.

Some creams do, this doesn't.

Which means I end up using a lot less per application and I can ride a lot longer.

Don't let the name fool you ladies... think of the Secret deodorant commercial.

Plus, the DZ stands for the awesome Dave Zabriskie - look him up.  Very cool cat.
