DON'T HIT THE ROCK!, IS TERRIBLE ADVICE
BACK IN THE BEGINNING, before tubeless tires, suspension, carbon hoops, we'd pump our MTB tires up to 55 lbs because...
... hitting a rock meant certain trouble.
If not disaster.
Modern tech makes it better, but Don't hit the rock!...
... the worst advice we could ever give.
You know why, right?
Because...
- our minds cannot see a negative
- so all we see are all the rocks
- the body follows the eyes
... there is only one way to navigate the treacherous terrain.
Look where you want to go.
This is the way.
