DESGRANGE, HITCHCOCK, OR YOU... WHO'S BETTER?

TAKING ONE FOR THE TEAM, I found myself watching and laughing and having a good time with an old Nora Ephron movie. Like all great directors, with Nora you know what you were going to get... ... it's the same way with all great race directors. The best put on a great show from beginning to end. They fill the house. For me, it's all about the suspense. Whether I'm racing or watching, it's figuring out who has the goods to win that I find so mesmerizing. The greatest suspense director? Is it Desgrange, creator of the three week Tour de France, or Hitchcock, creator of Psycho... ... or is it you, going after that big race or ride this summer? My money is on you.
