Yesterday was Day -1...

  • 9 hour time change

... on 2 hours of sleep.

We think we're athletes...

  • on foot
  • horseback
  • by sail boat

... completely unable to imagine doing that trip as our ancestors did.

Maybe that is what draws into endurance sports...

... a yearning to tap into what our progenitors did on a daily basis.

Today is Day 0,
and I woke feeling great.

Hit the local church,
always fun to see how others do Sundays.

The flat 50 miles of tailwind along Lake Geneva to the hotel,
was a good way to loosen up the legs.

Tomorrow the climbing starts.

Rain is on the menu.
