ONE OF THE BEST THINGS ABOUT MOUNTAIN BIKE RACING is it’s generally in the mountains. Or, at least somewhat, to very, remote. Which is great… … if you plan ahead. You can really settle in and enjoy the wildness. And, potential solitude. But, it wouldn't be a quite one tonight. Pulling in there were plenty of fires burning in pits. Racers up late, having a good time. Hottin' and hollerin'... ... this isn't your normal race. It's an 8 hour race, and 8 hour racers like to party. Some are going solo, me and the tat going duo... ... our main objective is noble and carries grave consequences should we lose.. We must beat his son's high school team duo.
