THERE ARE A MILLION TACTICS FOR SUCCESSFUL BIKE RACING. It would be impossible to know or practice them all. A fool's errand. I have a handful of strategies that have served me well...
... here are four of them.
- Be strong. On and off the bike
- Eat real food. If you can't identify the ingredients it's not food.
- PRs > KOMs. It's nice to win prizes, it's everything to know you did your absolute best.
- 1 big event per year. Have one big challenge every year and you'll always be fit.
Some day I'll write a book about those. In the meantime, I'll finish up the book I've nearly completed.
